All kits consist of a Printed Circuit Board (PCB), Schematic, Instructions, Parts List, and Components required to build the described circuit. Connect kits from Circuit Creations together to build exciting projects. We supply the parts, you supply your imagination.
This kit is designed around the LM317 3-terminal adjustable voltage regulator. It is capable of supplying in excess of 1Amp over an output range of 1.5volts to 27volts.
An input AC or DC voltage source of 3V to 35V (not included) from a transformer, such as a wall-mount type AC adapter, or a DC power source to the circuit will provide a regulated DC power supply output that is adjustable by varying a potentiometer. A heat sink (not supplied) may be needed for the LM317, depending on your application. See the specifications of the LM317 Data Sheet.
This circuit is perfect for those who want a small, compact adjustable power supply. It can be used on the bench and it is small enough to fit in robotics, models, automobiles, video game modifications, equipment enhancements, etc.

This kit is based on the popular LM386 audio amplifier. The LM386 in this kit is rated for 700mWatts into an 8-Ohm load while the maximum gain can be set to 20, 50, or 200.
The unique input stage of the LM386 allows ground referenced input signals. The output automatically self-centers to one-half the supply voltage. It has a low THD (Total Harmonic Distortion) rated for 0.2% at 125mWatts. See the specifications on the LM386 Data Sheet.
Uses include MP3 output amplifiers, guitar amplifiers, headphone amplifiers, audio source amplifiers, intercoms, line drivers, alarms, ultrasonic drivers, TV sound systems, AM-FM radio, small servo drivers, small speaker driver for your computer, etc. Included are an input connector that is a 2.5mm phone jack and an output connector that is a standard RCA jack and it is possible to wire in different connectors (not supplied) of your own choosing. A potentiometer is supplied to control the volume. This kit will work with batteries or power source from 4VDC to 12VDC.

This kit is based on the extremely versatile 555 multi-purpose timer integrated circuit. This kit has been designed so that you may select either ASTABLE or MONOSTABLE modes of operation by simply populating the PCB with appropriate components included in the kit. Astable is "free-running" and is used for an audio oscillator or LED flasher configuration of this kit. Monostable is a "one-shot" and is used for a timer configuration of this kit. This kit will work with batteries or power source from 5VDC to 15VDC.
The control, reset, trigger, and output signals of the 555 are routed to pads on the PCB so that you can connect to them and expand the capabilities of this kit. This circuit is truly amazing with all the available options. Use it in prototyping your designs or even as a stand-alone module for your projects such as dark room timer, signal generator, flashing display, games, audio source, connect it to a relay to control higher voltages, etc. See the 555 timer Data Sheet for further information .

This kit can be used as a remote control by cell/mobile phone. The circuit is activated when the back-light of a cellular phone comes on with an incoming call. There are no apps to download and in fact you don't need a smartphone, there are no special adapters or connectors required. This kit is compatible with almost any cellular phone where the back-light is lit continuously (i.e. no flashing) while the cell phone is ringing. The circuit turns on when 2 incoming calls are detected within one minute, and turns off when there is 1 incoming call within one minute. You will want to adjust the back-light on your cell phone so it stays on for less than 45 seconds so 2 calls can be detected within one minute. For best results when this kit is used as a remote control by cell phone it is set up out of direct light and the light sensor in this kit is pointed to the brightest part of your cell phone display.
